The handmade polymer clay beads in this piece have artful lines of vivid color. Their palette is echoed in the remaining design elements in the piece. They are: lime and tortoise-striped Czech glass, goldenrod-yellow glass seed beads, chrysoprase round gemstones and serpentine stone roundels.
Chrysoprase is a variation of quartz that ranges in color from apple green, to olive and lime green with black striations. It is thought to bestow joy and heal the heart of its wearer. Serpentine stone is also known as new jade; it aids meditation and heightens intuition.

The necklace is finished at 19" with a silver-toned pewter toggle clasp decorated with a bamboo leaf motif.
